Winter Vintner's Dinner and Wine Education Series

We have teamed up with the folks at Sky Pine Vineyards to offer three fantasticly fun (yet educational) experiences which will take place at the highest winery in Sonoma County.
 
Head up to the winery after a hearty three course breakfast at Auberge on the Vineyard, and enjoy a half day workshop,
and catered luncheon. Return to the inn and get ready for a spectacular winemaker's dinner. All for the price of $199 per couple + the price of your room.  Here's the calendar:
 
January 27-28 "The Zen Art of Pruning".  Learn what it
takes to prepare the vines for the growing season.
February 17-18 "Rack and Roll Party".  The 2011 barrels will be opened for tasting, and then racked.
March 23-24  "Blending Party". Taste and blend Bordeaux style wines to suit your taste profile.  If you so desire, design your own private label custom blend to share with friends.

January 14-15   "Winter Wineland" A feast for all the senses is in store for you, so don't miss out on the 20th anniversary of Winter Wineland. A great opportunity to meet winemakers, taste limited production wines, new releases or library wines.  Some wineries will offer food pairings and others will have tours. Some of the 140 participating wineries will be hosting artists and their exhibitions.
March 2-3 and 9-10   "Barrel Tasting". Wine Road member wineries offer an exciting weekend of wine tasting. This is your chance to sample wines from the barrel, talk to winemakers and explore the beautiful Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys. It's all about the WINE...many wineries offer "futures" on their barrel samples. This is your opportunity to purchase wine which can can include discounts and limited release vintages.
