During the first few months of Inn ownership, I investigated the great wineries of Sonoma County. During my adventures, I always found a reason to visit (again and again) a few of the wineries I hold close to my heart. Seghesio is one of those wineries.
One of my personal favorites is the Cortina Zinfandel. Just ask Robert Parker or the Wine Enthusiast if I didn't get this one right! It has a big nose and a wonderfully spicy flavor. Although Seghesio is known for their Pinot Noir and their Old Vine Zinfandel, I suggest one try a taste of their 2007 Omaggio. It has just the right balance of fruit and spice.
