Getting Around The Area

Everyone knows that drinking and driving don’t mix, and with over 400 wineries scattered throughout California’s expansive wine country, choosing NOT to drive is the safest and the most enjoyable way to discover the charms of Sonoma County. There are numerous transportation options available.

One option is to take a tour with us. Click here to learn more about our escorted wine tours on our Vin-Van (a complimentary service included in the price of our vineyard-view King Rooms: the Vouvray Room, the Echezeaux Room, and the Montrachet Suite.

For those who prefer getting around under their own steam, check out the local Cloverdale Cyclery, or Wine Country Bikes in Healdsburg for bicycle rentals. Both Dry Creek and Alexander Valley wineries are easily accessible by this mode of transportation as long as you can remain upright on your bike (hey, we’re serious… the pours in North Sonoma County are generous!).

There are a number of touring companies that offer daily tours at a cost of $100-$200 per person for a 5-hour tour. Here are a few that our guests have used and enjoyed.
