The air-conditioned Petite Auberge is a bright and spacious, newly remodeled two-bedroom, one-bath cottage in the heart of Alexander Valley wine country. 90 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and easy to find, this charming abode is located in Sonoma, just a mile off of Highway 101.
The spectacular vineyard views from the cottage are the main attraction. Kick back on the expansive private deck and soak up the sun – or relax under the leafy canopy of a 100+ year old tree and feel the cool evening breeze on your face as you take in a sunset over the hillside.
Cheerfully decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and modern furniture, this cottage will allow you to enjoy all the comforts of home without any of the bother. A great-room style living/dining/kitchen area brings friends and family together. The living room has a 55-inch flat-screen TV with BluRay player and a wonderful collection of DVDs on hand (although, frankly, with the vineyard views we enjoy, who wants to watch TV?) The kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and gas stove, and plenty of counter space to whip up something delish to eat.
The totally modern bathroom is outfitted with travertine marble floors, mosaic glass tile, and a soaking tub with on-demand hot water so you’ll never run out!
The bedrooms are decorated in high style, sporting faux-finished walls, iron beds and antique dressers, and triple-sheeted 600-thread-count bedding to keep you cool and comfortable throughout your stay.
