As a cool mist rises from the vineyards surrounding the bed and breakfast, you will awaken to the comforting aroma of freshly prepared gourmet coffee mingling with something very yummy cooking in the kitchen. From crepes to quiche, French-inspired cuisine is what’s on the menu at Auberge on the Vineyard.
Simply put, our breakfasts are fantastic! And we don’t have to say so ourselves, because everyone who visits Sonoma wine country is saying it for us. Throughout hundreds of guest reviews on Yelp and TripAdvisor, we consistently earn high praise for our three-course repast, which is passionately prepared in the Victorian House’s country-style kitchen and served at 9AM in the adjoining dining room.
Our mouthwatering breakfasts include fresh fruit dishes, protein (sounds better than ‘meat’), and hot entrees such as Quiche Lorraine or pain perdu (‘pain’ as in French for bread, not as in ‘ouch’). Gourmet French-press coffee, juices, and a wide variety of teas are also available. If you’re lucky, your breakfast will also come with a sassy side of irreverent humor, courtesy of innkeeper Roxanne.
Breakfast time is usually fun time at Auberge on the Vineyard, with lively and interesting conversation, punctuated by plenty of laughter, among guests seated at our community table.
But don’t worry if you are shy, sleepy, or just want more privacy; feel free to sit at our table for two or pick a sunny enclave in the garden or gazebo, or along our wrap-around verandah. We promise you won’t be judged; except, perhaps, by Bellehop the cat, who is always in the mood for a little social interaction.
The menu at Auberge on the Vineyard varies each day. Whether you’re in the mood for an elaborate multi-course breakfast or the more traditional petit dejeuner, you can expect the cuisine at our inn to be unrivaled.
With advance notice, special dietary needs (gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan, etc.) are gladly accommodated.
