So close – yet, so far away.

Located on the outskirts of the charming and friendly town of Cloverdale, California, Auberge on the Vineyard is a cozy, secluded getaway, with just enough ‘quirk’ to keep us all on our toes. Seemingly remote among its stately oaks and breathtaking vineyard views, this historic inn sits at the hub of two of California’s greatest wine-making regions: Sonoma County and Mendocino County.

Being big believers in enjoying the best of all worlds, we also have the good luck to be situated near a wide range of outdoor recreational activities and other popular tourist destinations, such as the bustling town of Healdsburg, the Russian River and Lake Sonoma, redwood forests and the beautiful Northern California coast.

Airy and spacious with a lavish continental feel, our inn combines beautiful Queen Anne Victorian architecture, French styling, panoramic views of the Alexander Valley vineyards – and a cat named Bellehop. She may be less helpful than her name suggests, but she’s cute and almost always cuddly.

Glowing sunsets are a frequent occurrence and can be enjoyed from comfortable seating (just give Bellehop a gentle push) on the expansive, covered verandah of the historic building, as well as from the open-air decks of the Carriage House.

We haven’t even started bragging about our amazing breakfasts – yet.

Auberge on the Vineyard is the ideal spot for luxurious vacations, honeymoons or romantic getaways, family reunions, retreats, small business meetings, and special events. It marks the perfect starting point to discovering the charms of Sonoma and Mendocino counties, if we do say so ourselves (and we do – often!). Come visit us and experience the allure of Auberge on the Vineyard for yourself.

Cloverdale is easy to get to – just off California’s Highway 101, about 80 miles north of San Francisco.
